it can be done with out to much trouble if you have the parts and the know how, but would think it would be a little bit tricky to control the throttle when pulling the sled over and such.

We thought of doing that for my moms Cat her thumb get sore or extended the throttle so she can use her palm My own thumb got sore at lower trail speeds because your thumb is all ways extended

was wondering why you where thinking that route?I have bad knuckle in thumb and just turned throttle around and use pointer finger.and would suggest trying it to everyone.great control, able to use most of hand for full gripping......give a shot bet you likey:d just reroute your throttle wire so it glides freely

i think a set of hand guards would be a good idea if you are going to turn the throttle around.

Turning the throttle is not as good an idea as you thing, Pull the trottle a little then sled jumps and you have a wide open rodeo on your hands.

They make a progressive throttle for those sleds that work real good. I have put them on several sleds that women have issues with the throttle to wide and hard on their hands and they say this works great for them. The other thing is to leave throttle a little lose so you can twist it and change the angle several times during the day and helps stop the sore hands

That works really well!!! on my moms XLT we had to do that because the throttle cable was too short!(because of the 5 inch lift block) And i rode it so much i didnt want to have it any other way!!
not the best for trail riding but ok!
also bad if you run in to a tree, haha:p:p
