Thoughts on Polaris add ons

E-Start is a yes, My thought is when in deep or on weird angles and having to start up on off side, you will not regret it. you can drop the weight with a good lithium battery. Again, once on and used, you wont regret it. once you use it and dont have it, you will be dis appointed. JMO

Dazzler what aftermarket shocks did you go with? Price?

I put exit 1 shocks from zbros on front and back. They were just shy of $3100 Canadian, delivered.

That's a good thought Minnow and I used E start for the weekend last time riding a new Axys just don't like the weight add on and
added maintenance of the battery yet never thought of Lithium batt. too save some weight. It was nice for sure.

I will be adding a SLP can which will save some weight.

Those EXIT shocks look pretty sweet. How do they handle the deep snow? Are there any other shocks you guys prefer over the Stock upraded piggy back clickers?

E-start is absolutely unnecessary on a Polaris as they start with a flick of the wrist. I rode a Doo for a day and it was a must. The pull cord was low and it was hard to pull. If you are man enough to ride you are man enough to pull the rope.

I don't have too many miles on my exit shocks yet, but I definitely like them over the stock clickers. That being said, I've heard others say that if you have the stock clickers revalved/set up for your riding/weight etc, they can be considerably better..

I had the Exit X1 stocks and sold them to try the Elka's. The Elkas are better in every way. The look better, perform better and were delivered to my door faster than the Exits. Plus there Canadian. The spring package is 2 individual springs instead of the dual rate single spring. This works way better. I ordered a complete stage 4 package for my axys, came to $3200 delivered.

It’s not about being man enough to pull the rope... e-start or SHOT leaves you enough energy to pull buddies out of deep a$$ creek holes! Just sayin’ LOL! Maybe a sky hook would be the best Polaris add on?

I've had various different brands of shocks over the years and I really, really like Raptor. Raptor's founder was the shock guy for Polaris back in the day. You won't be disappointed.

They are good shocks but require rebuilds more often due to the harder seal they use. Seems to let moisture pass easier. Seal kits are expensive and parts
I had my front track shock blow the cap out- pretty much destroyed every part of it. Cheaper to buy new one.

Have ran Raptor for years. The difference they make on a sled is unbelievable as I’m other high end shocks would do. Have never been disappointed by Jake and crew. Great customer service and always have time to help.
