Students bummed about president-elect Trump

I really don't want to live on this planet anymore....
These are university students, not children, who are such special snowflakes who were triggered by Trumps election win that they need therapy dogs, play-doh and are having cry ins.

20 year olds for f@ck sake. This is what the world is coming to?

This is what happens when the Politically Crowd is alowwed to run amok. When special interest groups take over. People that require safe spaces cause words hurt.
Where everyone is given a trophy for trying. They have no concept of winning or losing. They just figure thrat if they don't get their own way they can cry and rant until they do.

Can an you imagine this generation of Social Justice Warriors having to storm the beaches of Normandy? We would all be speaking German by now.

Agree or disagree. End of rant. The Leftard protests have been bugging the piss out of me for the last couple days.

Give the New President-elect time to get settled in.

He has said in his pre-elections speeches that if he were elected, there would be a return to "law and order", that Police Officers would once again have the backing of the White House and the government. He certainly had first hand experience at his rallies with these a$$-hats acting out. In other words, this crap will be coming to an end.

The general public has had it up to the eyeballs with these f'n cry-babies.

Nothing a three-foot long riot stick, pepper spray and some German Shepherds couldn't cure....

It's funny how many of the ones shown in the news clips appear to belong to various "special interest groups".

As a younger guy myself, I honestly think you have no one to blame but yourselves. Not trying to incite an argument here but I honestly think its the parents of this generation who kinda messed it up. They allowed kids to be socially engineered like this. From participation medals, not being able to keep score in games, taking physical contact out of sports, allowing kids to get away with anything they want, "snowplow parenting", helicopter parenting and not keeping kids accountable, not even to mention allowing far left wingers to control the media and school curriculum, i mean have you read a social text book recently? It's complete and utter garbage! the socialist/communist propaganda in them is brutal, it is brutally critical of capitalism and actual freedom and praises social policies and big government. We can change it though, we need a fire sale on that crap and the crap in universities, stop the brooding of socialists and start teaching kids to think for themselves, have critical thought and work with their hands.

The silent majority can speak up and stop this but instead we choose to complain about it and do nothing. And guess who is going to suffer from this? thats right your kids and your grand kids.

You did nail it. The fact that the USA got away from their socialist government will help. The fact that every province except Saskatchewan and the federal government are socialists will continue to breed these stupid kids. The only way we are going to get our society even half way back to normal is to get these socialist governments out of Canada.

If our PM had just one of Trump's gonads this country might be half assed on the right track.

hate to say it but you are 100% correct!!! We have 3 daughters with one left at home graduating this year. She told my wife and I that her friends think we are slave drivers because she has to help clean the house and do the dishes. I was shocked to hear most parents don't make their kids do house chores. I guess I am from the old school as there are no free rides and everyone has to carry their own weight. Sad!

Yup... Still have my son at home, but only til he finishes apprenticing for hd mechanics. Brought our kids up with chores, playing competetive sports(without participation medals/ribbons/trophies) -- except the tim horton's hockey tourney -- and i know several of our friends brought their kids up the same way... Seems like the generation after us, may have lost their way? One year when my daughter was in jr high school, her class made christmas cards to give out to the poor/elderly in the area, and they were to be politically correct cards. My daughter wrote "merry xmas" on her card, and was reprimanded for it...... Until my wife found out what happened and raised a lotta hell at the school office. My daughter was given a formal apology from the teacher, soon after ;) . This is what this new generation is facing. Very disturbing!!!

wow mareshow. I supported Trump but a little bit of what you said just hit home to me. i am guilty of helecopter dad and letting the SO do so also. I coach JH football and my oldest "7" in his variouse sports. My JH team lost a game 45-8 this last season and I dont think it even bothered a single kid.

It is very difficult in this day and age to not get sucked into the good guy status. but it really is what is killing the nation. I make a primise to myself to find atleast that left testical and stamd up against raising more cry babies!

It's easy to let yourself slip into bad habits. We all want the best for our kids, we dont want to see them fail or face the same difficulties that we did (my son is 10 months old so I'm just starting.) But what if those shortcomings, difficulties and failures are a good thing? what if we have to let them fail or be set back by a challenge to only love and encourage them into succeeding over it? I think a lot of parents nowadays mistake love for "only good things" (like facing obstacles for our kids) but sometimes love means discipline, or even tough love or as my dad used to put it "character building exercises" lol. In the end we all do the best that we know how to raise our kids, but you gotta ask yourself, is what you're doing going to help them in the future when they have a challenge? or hurt them? because we're not always going to be there to help.

I don't know if it's off topic or not, but Mare is right all of these "i'm special" kid's are being raised that way.The politically correct and don't hurt my feeling's movement has been growing at an alarming rate for quite awhile now. Parent's of these kid's have no one to blame but themselves for the future failure of their kid's lives. I know a guy with a 10 year old kid that has never rode a pedal bike "because they could fall off and get hurt"
IT BLOW'S MY MIND................

Never been spanked, done chores, picked up their own mess, taught respect for other people or worked for anything they have and told "they are special"all of their life = huge failures when the world doesn't give them what they want.
