fill ziplock bag with dryer lint , it's the best firestarter ever........starts easy , burns for several minutes and gets rid of unwanted garbage, we carry it snowmobiling , it's awesome!!!

belly button lint works well also, in a pinch.....

Afew items not mentioned in the other replies, Make sure you get a proper wheel nut wrench, the cross or X type and make sure it fits the wheel nuts. Also a spare tire, with air and also remember to check all the other tires.
Bow saw
Rope,
Bungee cords
Dry Kindling and replace after using
Pine tree air freshneers, different scents, work great in those sp[ecial outhouses etc.

Only trouble is, once it gets wet it's useless, also take up much more room. Been there, tried that, cotton balls and vaseline are also windproof! Hmm, skip the cotton balls and add vaseline to your dryer lint and get the best of both! Windproof and waterproof! LOL

We learned the hard way last year (This same August long weekend) to carry some winter clothes. It was only 7 celcius and with the wind off the lake it seemed much colder.
