Wouldn't prevention start with chopping the guy hands off when he gets caught as a lesson to others?
I wish someone would take my old Ford, guess I'd have to move to town to make that happen though.

But unless u figure the insurance can and will replace ur truck, y wouldn't u do what u can to keep it from going missing by and means necessary

Yeah, my nephew is a welder, not a mechanic. Lot's of people have no idea how easy they are to steal. That being said lifting a truck out of a driveway in town Christmas morning is ballsy. I like the hand chopping idea, stealing **** that a guy uses to feed his family is especially douche IMO
