V twins do run under water ... no problem .. they wll idle all day long under water...... as long as the driver does not stall the machine and it is snorkeled good....

waterproof, or marine grade? I couldn't find any stereo equipment with an actual IP rating....everything I used is "water resistant" marine grade. I don't think that means it can be submerged
