I forgot keys to both my sleds last year when I went to McBride on the Easter weekend. We got there Thursday night and when I went to start my sleds on Friday I realized I left the keys at home. Needless to say my best friend sent them via Grey Hound and I got the keys on Saturday so we still got 2 days of sledding in, should have been 3 but 2 is better than none! I only did that once and will NEVER pull the dumb A$$ move again

did that with the quad when i went hunting this year :S

We stayed in Canmore a few weeks ago on a ski trip, and the kids left their Dad's ipod on a bench in the lobby of the hotel. I phoned about a week later, and they had it at the desk and shipped it back to us.

A little feel good story for ya! ;)

Who knew there are still honest people out there?!

One camping trip I went on a few years ago... Realized I left my wallet with everything in it... Looked EVERYWHERE... Had no moneys... Had to bum off of friends (thank god for them) to pay for gas, food, etc... Packing up at the end of the weekend, found the damn thing underneath the seat. Talk about r-tard moment on my behalf!

its why they invented stools

Wrong.....

The stool was first invented by a Swiss woman by the name of Maria Schitonstool in 1749 and was born out of necessity. You see, Maria Schitonstool was a habitual gambler and frittered away what money she earned from singing in the street and sharpening pencils for the aristocracy, on horses, lottery scratch cards and in the illegal casino's of Zurich. This obviously led to cash flow problems and Miss.Schitonstool would often have to sell her personal belongings and furnishings to pay the rent. Sometimes she was so broke that she would be unable to pay her heating bills and was forced into using furniture and fittings in order to make a fire to keep warm. So, the stool. The stool was invented by accident when Maria Schitonstool was finding wooden furniture to keep her fire going one particularly cold night in Decenber 1749. The only wood she had left in the house apart from her bed was her chairs, 'but what to sit on if they go into the fire?', she thought. So, she sawed the backs off all her chairs and inadvertently invented the stool. Soon, word got around the underprivileged and poor of Switzerland, leading to more chairs being chopped up into stools for fire wood. It was then quickly picked up by the upper classes and stools were very much in vogue (the magazine), earning Maria Schitonstool fame and fortune

So I went in to my local Can Am dealer to pick up my hat and T shirt that he forgot to give me when I bought my XMR.

So I say you know I could use another machine for a spare or so a GF don't have to double with me and so on.

He says come with me this just came in!

So he shows me this stellar 09 Gade 500 1000 miles 12 months warrenty never been past water half way up the wheels driving buy a 17 year old girl who was scared of it.

So I say ok how much.
he tells me then says if you dont take it that guy over there on the phone with his wife will.

This was the type of deal that you kick yourself for not going for 2 miles down the road go back and it's gone!

So I said I will take it and swiped my card the deal was thousands less then any other 500 gade I have seen in the last year.

Now I have the perfect build machine for a turbo big bore motor this winter!

SO HAPPY I dont have a wife to call!!!!

Cause just because you say you are guna call your wife does not meen its held for you I walked in with 10g cash

You wana have time to talk to wifey put the deposit down if not to bad so sad

The dealer took the sure thing sale over I have to bring my wife in on it and maybe if she likes it.

Any dealer I buy from knows I make an offer with cash if they say no I walk away.

And trust me they wana keep me happy they are a JD dealer aswell and we have a big farm they had never seen him before.

Oh and he ended up not getting approved for the even cheaper machine he wanted after I bought the gade !

Yea if you would've pulled out you could have been this guy right now.

Oh well, maybe your next life eh?

I forgot something on a sled trip a few years ago...
All of my buddies dropped sleds off at my shop for the trip during the week, we were leaving on a Friday morning. My buddy pulled in with his huge kick ass enclosed trailer to load sleds. I went out food shopping with another buddy. When I got back the trailer was locked up and ready to roll. We put the groceries in coolers in the bed of the truck.
8 hours later we pulled into Cooke City Montana, opened up the enclosed... My sled wasn't in there...
