GM really needs to get there variable cylinder displacement figured out, buddy is a tech at Northgate and thats pretty much all he does is lifters
They need to get rid of the damn things, very few lifter issues in the 6.0 and 6.6 engines that are in the HD trucks.

They aren't saving any fuel economy with em anyways.

100% agree on the fuel economy, if a person wants fuel economy get an actual 4 cylinder not a v8 that shuts down to 4. Those pistons still go up and down either way and it takes energy to do that.
