Best to fix at home than on the trail

I pressed out the upper ball joint yesterday and went to press in the new one but it slid in by hand. Checked the service manual and sure enough I need to use green loctite to hold it in as well as the clip. Put red in before I checked the manual and it is holding but I think I am better off getting the right stuff. Spent $800 on a new steering shaft to get rid of the stupid cable setup cat has. Hopefully gets my steering to what it should be. Stock setup has way too much resistance. It is ok when riding fast but in the tight woods it needs to be better. The steering is tight enough turn wise just needs to turn easier.
