Greetings.
New to the site but not quading or riding. Grew up in Drumheller and rode all the time there. Fantastic riding to be had there but it helps to have a local or former resident as a guide to find the best areas from one end of the valley to the other.
Been in Edmonton almost 15 years now and getting back into the quad scene. I also ride the pavement alot on 2 wheels. Lately I spend a lot of time building up my hot rod SPORT utility vehicle (note the emphasis on 'sport' :d) with major upgrades all around.
Just picked up a 2006 YFZ450 with a few bolt-ons and am looking forward to getting out on it. It came with a pair of sand paddles and a full set of studded ice racing tires. I may be interested in trying an ice race or two but would love to find some good x-country/GNCC style events to participate in. Either way it would be nice to hookup with someone else to go with.
Casual adventure to aggressive/performance trail riding is what I enjoy (which pretty much means everything) but I prefer avoiding mud and skeg when possible. Really looking forward to a great year of riding and hopefully meeting some new riding buddies.
My day job is in real estate so if anyone needs help finding a great garage/shop with a house to sleep in feel free to touch base.
