I think this survey is bogus .. one revy is probably the busiest place in the country during sledding season and two im pretty sure zalas and moose mulligans should be the top two restaurants non food chain just my two cent!!

How does Banff get in for best snowmobiling in AB?

I bet it has to do with how and who voted.

The horse thief pub in radium is just as good as zalas or moose's.

As far as Banff goes. Not to sure but I think some plankers where voting

not that i want to ruin a possible secret, (sure it isn't), but why does whistler and the sea to sky corridor seem almost unknown. snoriders and all their little trail or area reports have never highlighted this area but a lot of teams probably do the majority of their filming there. the riding is awesome. i've got nothing against the mag, i do somewhat enjoy it, but are they retarded?!

Good for the Pass!

I would like to know why or how come they put the Elk Valley and Corbin together? I think of the Elk Valley as those places north and south of Elkford to the joining of Koocanusa. Corbin, I associate with the Pass even though it is on the extreme edge of BC. The one thing I don't like about SnoRiders, is that if the "area businesses" buys advertising, they are in like flinn. If there is no advertising purchased, there is no or very minimal information and promotion. I see their point, but I don't have to like it!

It's pretty clear that someone in Radium was running a campaign to vote that area in.

I heard there was some awesome mountain riding right behind Banff springs!
How many sleders actually stay at the Banff springs?
I figured they'd turn you away as soon as the hippies saw the sleds.
But really, how can somewhere where sledding is illegall be on the list?

I like Sno-Riders but I almost got sick trying to read through that survey, wayyyyy to many categories. Its like they gave everyone a chance to win. Favorite Powder in BC and Revy didn't make the top 4? LOL I think some peeps who voted need to look through the pics on the Revy Riding Thread.....

I think it is unreal revy and valemount do not get more mentions. The caribou grill in vale is an excellent place to eat and the other choices for dining in such a small town are very good. Many areas to ride as well.

Let them not mention Vale! That way us real sledders that know how good it is can go there and enjoy the not so big of crowds!
