Not as deep as Fernie and no base yet. We had 12-14" in town and nothing at the top. Fernie has a base, although it isn't quite deep enough to cover all the land mines, but not much pow. We need fresh snow in both places.

Can anyone tell me were to stage at to ride the pipeline,has been many years since I rode there. Pipeline/notch the same thing?

Stage at the Tin Shacks on the road into Corbin using the Coal Mountain mine road. Basically, ride the pipeline until you get to the Notch.

i heard that it can be tricky through there i.e. creeks and stuff ? can we not get to the pipeline from the coal creek staging area via the wranglers cabin ?

Suck it up princess! Small creeks and stuff, no problem! A lot better than riding on an active plowed logging road with the possibility of a big fine.

And yes, you can go that way but I don't recommend it. Maybe on the weekends an maybe over Xmas but we haven't heard yet.

yeah, we spoke with with a few fellows at the cabin who were "chatting" with the driver a D8 who was plowing the road. i guess he wasn't too pleased to see them using it. they turned around and found a different way out...
