The Notch, Fernie B.C.

Hey guys. First time riding in this area and I'm reading good things about the Notch. Im pretty sure I can figure out how to get there from the other posts about it but I was wondering if anyone has been up there recently, how the snow is, what condition the pipeline is in, and if anyone could give me updated directions.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also wondering about the Notch and how exactly to get there from Wrangler's Cabin. And is the Pipeline any good to ride from the Tin Shack, or would it be better to ride from Fernie's Coal Creek staging area?

Jump back on the pipeline near Wranglers cabin and head South. It's been a while but the last time I was in the area there was no warning so one has to show some care and watch for the drop off once you are in that area

We rode up to the Notch Saturday from the Flathead and although we found fresh snow they need alot more .

Go Coal Creek best route. Once you go south on the p/l look for control valve on p/l. At that point you can go another 300m up to look out at Notch. From control valve you can go east or west. To the west good rolling stuff and some pulls in here. To the east you drop into some great terrain keeps going east and tons of stuff to ride in there. Have a blast you should have good snow this weekend.

Right end of the notch is much better than the left side. Info from 2 weeks aago.
