BUT THIS COULD BE THE FINAL DISCOVERY, PERIOD........OUT OF CONTROL MANMADE BLACKHOLE ENGULFS THE WORLD AND SOLAR SYSTEM AND UNIVERSE:eek:......... LOL

Yeah, but it would kind of cool don't you think. Maybe the hole would send us to an alternate universe where the temp is -10 with fresh snow falling every night and sun shine every day. Not such a bad thing.

actually i'm intrigued by the possiblities of this thing, and the shear size of it..... Something like 15 miles across? A tour of that facility would be awesome. I read a lot about it in the national geographic a while ago......

I luv science....and do aggree that without science we would be without a lot of things like sleds even....but the scale that these guys ar working with is mind blowing....couldnt they hav built a miniture model so if it back fires it creates a black hole that swallows up say the block around the building there in not the whole universe....the one theroy there working with you know the big bang....

It's a cool thing, and it's even better when it's not our money being burned over there. Another good thing is that "it is" way over there, because when they blow that damn thing up, I really do wanna be on the other side of the planet.

Nuclear Physics, atomization and the speed of whatever x whatever, is something way over my head, but science is a good thing. I like it, but hope they don't blow something up with it.

Umm other side of the planet. Some are saying the collider could have the same energy as the big bang.

A Quote from Jonathan Cainer - Astrologer

The Indefinite Particle Friday, 9 April 2010

Subatomic particles are funny things. Invisible, mysterious and erratic. Scientists are now smashing them together in The Large Hadron Collider in an attempt to reveal secrets of the universe that might radically change our understanding of the world. It may even allow us to rewrite the rules of time. Apparently, they don't intend to get the Collider up to full speed till 2013. Meanwhile, the 'long count calendar' of the ancient Mayan civilisation 'runs out' in 2012. Some say this signifies the imminent end of time as we know it.' I wonder if these two events are connected?
