Okay, big waste of money... I agree. But definitely interesting. I just wonder, if they are emulating the BIG BANG, how will they know when they've gone too BIG? Could be a little dangerous...

big waste of money in my opinion

Was reserching something like eletricty a waste of time. How can we understand anything without understanding the fundamental building blocks of the universe that we live in

You never learn about anything until you study it, sometimes you need a big microscope. If humanity never took chnaces we would have stopped evolving when the first caveman burnt himself with fire.

Cant argue with you on that one pipes, Makes you wonder just WHAT are they looking for?. No one spends that kind of money with out some type of motivation.

"If the radiance of a thousand suns were to burst at once into the sky, that would be like the splendor of the mighty one." and "Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds." quoted by Robert oppenhimer " the father of the atomic bomb'from the Bhagavad Ginta

To be honest, I thought it was interesting. May be a big waste of money, but time will tell.

I think that there are alot of cancer survivors out there that may appreciate that someone took the time to do nuclear research.....

It was the guys and gals designing the collider that invented the internet so lets at least give it the credit for that or we'd all be sitting in front of the computer playing "pong" right now.:d

It's a cool thing, and it's even better when it's not our money being burned over there. Another good thing is that "it is" way over there, because when they blow that damn thing up, I really do wanna be on the other side of the planet.

Nuclear Physics, atomization and the speed of whatever x whatever, is something way over my head, but science is a good thing. I like it, but hope they don't blow something up with it.

THIS IS THE MOST EXPENSIVE SCIENCE EXPERIMENT EVER, EVEN OVER THE SPACE PROGRAM......... AND THEY'RE NOT SURE OF THE OUTCOME OR RESULTS............ CAN THEY SHUT THE COLLISIONS OFF IF THERE IS ANY SIGNS OF FAILURE? THEY'RE NOT 100% SURE, AND EVEN WORSE, THEY DON'T KNOW 100% WHAT THEY'RE ACTUALLY LOOKING FOR, BUT THEY SAY THEY'LL KNOW WHEN THEY SEE IT...... HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM:rolleyes: , JUST SAYIN'

Almost all great scientific discoveries of our time have been by accident.....keep that in mind.
