Okay... so the weekend was a chitshow with our trailer and Rhino being stolen and my Mother down to visit and then Easter Bunny Day and my sister-in-law just being a lazy ass in general while the rest of us picked up her life, so now the Monday update is a Wednesday update.

Got my trailer back yesterday, finally. Turns out they went offroading with it, jumped an approach and drove into a swamp. Amazingly, it only has one really big scratch. The losers are lucky they didn't roll it and smash the barrel of race fuel inside... *POOOF*!!

Here's the best part: Someone wanders onto my property, steals my stuff in broad daylight, destroys our sense of security, nearly destroys the trailer itself, and we get to pay a $935 bill. How the F#^@&! does that work?

Good news is: the shoot for Saturday is still on, thank goodness. Almost had nothing to haul and nothing to haul with. Here's hoping for NO MORE EXCITEMENT. Working 1 shift tonight and then a few errands and then some Betties, (but no bombing!), and then sledding next weekend.

Oh, and I got new neighbors next door. First clue: they brought their stuff in the house in tupperware containers. No furniture. Second clue: they put two dogs in my backyard and didnt tell me. My kids let them out. Third clue: they had a screaming match over who let the dogs go and smashed the only peice of furniture I did see. CONCLUSION: I need to get the house built on our acreage and blow this popsicle stand ASAP!!

Have a great one everybody... Sledding can't come soon enough...

Bill was for winching it out of a swamp at 1am, swamper truck to haul it, tow bill to Drayton Valley and then impound/storage fees...

They caught the girl, but the police officer wouldn't chase the guy/driver when he ran into the water. So, she waited 2 hours for the dogs to show up and he got away. The girl is in custody and pretending she didnt know the truck and trailer were stolen. So far, the police are pretty sure they know who he is, but until she gives up the goods or they have more proof, he gets to carry on...

JUST an FYI for those in the Central Alberta area: the police told us yesterday that a LARGE group of theives have made their way down from North of Edmonton and they are hitting everyone and everything HARD!! Last week alone they had a 120% increase in thefts of vehicles, trailers, welders, and ATVs in this area. LOCK UP YOUR ch!t AND GET YOUR GUN!! They did the same thing this time last year and although a few were caught and jailed there are still quite a few of them left to roam the streets and alley ways...

YUPPPERS!! Team Rimbey is IN!! And Team Rimbey effing deserves this trip! I fully intend to be chit faced all weekend and blow off some steam! (Well, probly not really, cuz I suck at being hungover, and am worse at hangovers mixed with sledding, but I can pretend!)

But half of the team will be meeting us in Valemount on the 17th cuz he will be at work. He is sending the big truck home with my brother today so I can haul our trailer myself and he will just meet us there... It's better than sledding without him or worse... NOT SLEDDING AT ALL

May end up being the shortbus tour, iam a little "very" concered with how the weather is shaping up. New snow on the way, then rapid cooling predicted over the weekend. My concern lies with next week when temps are excpected to jump and we get solar influence on the new and wind deposited snow. Iam gunna keep watching things but we may have to tread lightly ladies.
