Remember.....minimum of SPF 30 to be applied at least 15-30 minutes before sun exposure and reapply at least every two hours or after swimming or heavy perspiration!

Headed to Valemount tomorrow, ditching the kids and getting ready to rip it up with Skinnybitch and the Bitches' Hubby's... Scotts is calling the ride "Bros and Hoes and Snows"... super excited.

Wondering about a little project for a few of us. Thinking that in light of all the media fallout after Revelstoke and Big Iron Shootout, we should put together a package for the media highlighting what we really do when we sled. Perhaps some footage along the same lines as "Deep Silence" and that one "just Breathe" on YouTube, and then some about the women and families of sledding. Perhaps tie it all together with a well-written story about families and sledding, rising to personal challenges, the avalanche education we all encourage each other towards, stewardship to one another etc., etc, You know... the real story?? What do we think? Who wants to help?

I had a media mole contact me in the aftermath of Saturday when I posted that the 4 people from my husband's crew who were caught in the avalanche were all safe... Maybe we should give her the story she was asking for??
