The rest is self explanatory. But this is the best mushroom sauce recipe out there.


  • ½ lb of mushrooms
  • ¾ cup of cream
  • 1 tbsp of Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp of Corn Starch
  • 1 tbsp of butter
  • 1 tbsp of Olive Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper


  • sauté mushrooms with 1 tbsp of olive oil and some salt and pepper until golden
  • Add cream and soy sauce and continue cooking on medium-low heat
  • Cream the butter and cornstarch together in a bowl and slowly add to sauce
  • Cook sauce until thick

Baked Mushroom Caps:
mushrooms White or Brown, Remove stems set aside
baby shrimp
hollandaise sauce
Mozzarella Cheese, grated

Using a ovenproof shallow dish( glass Pie plate works well) Flip mushrooms over to expose the bottoms, place a baby shrimp in each cap. Take freshly made hollandaise sauce and drizzle over the mushrooms and shrimp. Add cheese on top to just cover the mushrooms.
if you have someone that can't tolerate shrimp, cut up the mushroom stems with chopped up bacon and saute with some garlic and olive oil and put in a SEPARATE pan as you don't want cross contamination ( shellfish is deadly for some people).
Heat oven to 350 F and put in oven no cover, bake until the cheese starts to turn bubbly and brown. Remove from oven and serve with garlic toast. It is quite easy and very delicious, however if you are on a diet this won't help. Enjoy!
p.s. use real hollandaise if possible as the fake stuff tends to separate.

Mmm that pizza looks delish Rowdy! I'm actually going to try my hand at making a homemade chicken and veggie pizza myself soon.

It was pretty simple and tasty, I love cooking with cranberries, and this closely related to my favourite turkey/cranberry crockpot recipe I do on holidays like thanksgiving, etc when I"m just cooking for the two of us, I throw a large turkey breast into a crockpot, season with salt and pepper, throw in a can of cranberry sauce and one package of onion soup mix and slow cook on low for about 8 hrs and voila - turkey, cranberry and stuffing flavor all in one.

Gotta start sharing my cooking in this thread too! Great idea

think i got a bit of a hardon from the pics of the bacon explosion.......

i dont have any fancy recispies but i do know how ot make donair sauce and an EASY wing sauce

I still think the funniest thing EVER was "big deal" Showtime after having on of your "hot" wings last year...... You do make AWESOME wing sauce and I want that recipe for sure!

Breakfast time! ... so I eat a pretty low carb - high protein diet, so my breakfasts usually require a little creativity, yet simplicity for convenience, as I don't eat breakfast cereals (except for plain oatmeal with berries), or breads, etc.

Most of my breakfasts are usually pretty easy like fruit smoothies, or yogurt and berries with the Holy Crap gluten-free Dragon's Blend artisan cereal.. but when I have some time in the evenings I whip up some of these for breakfast...

Mini Omelletes..pretty simple, grab a muffin baking tray.. I use 2 eggs, some spinach, bell peppers, cheese, mushrooms and whatever else is in the fridge, mix it all up and pour about 3/4 full into the muffin trays, bake in the oven until they start to bubble up and look cooked, and voila.. breakfast :)

Bacon Mushroom Dip.
- 2 cups mushrooms
- 6 slices of bacon
- 3 shallots
- 1/2 cup of mayo
- 1/2 lemon squeezed

Put shallots, lemon juice and mayo in a food processor. Cook bacon and mushrooms in a frying pan until cooked. Add bacon and mushrooms into frying pan and blend in processor.

*good as a dip, spread or even a rub on a roast.*

*wasn't a huge fan of this, but I'm going to mix it with alfredo sauce, think that would be tasty.

Under the recipes link I have tried and can highly recommend the following.
APPETIZERS = Sweet and Spicy Baked Chicken Wings, and Beer Bread
BREAKFAST = Rhubarb Streusel Cake, Home-Made Blueberry Sauce, Mocha Scones, and Bourbon Banana Bread (see picture below, I know Crown isn't a Bourbon but it was all I had at the time)
CAKES = Chocolate Cake (with Espresso Buttercream) ***AWESOME***
CHEESE CAKE = Lemon Cheese Cake with Redux
