This is very sad. I hope that hotel management is aware and has now 'red flagged' those individuals.

I too prefer to stay in cabins to avoid that crap.

We chose not to goto the Mountains this year because all the morons that are not true sledders will be out and ruin it for us.

Sorry to hear this experience for you Dave, hopefully you can convince Heather to get back out there again.

I will say that I have been going to Mcbride since 1997 and have not had the pleasure of rooming beside jerks like that.i
I would like to think this was a 1 time experience for you and your family.I am sure that I speak for most everyone on snow and mud and hope you and your family can look at this as a “once in a lifetime” event and it most likely won’t happen again....

Would be awesome to out cowards like this in public when they're not in a pack like wolves. Guaranteed, if you caught these morons one on one they would probably p!ss themselves and cry for their mommy.
The names are in the registry at the front desk.
Just so the right people go to the train station........

Hey there Dave, i was there this past weekend and if i would have met you and your family. You could have come down and woke me up to deal with the situation i would have done it without asking any questions. I have done it in the past for management and other people that complain about similar things. Hope that you and the family don't stop sledding cause of what happened because it is a very good outdoor sport for everyone.

Sorry about your luck with tha azzho__s. Happen to me also a few years ago in Edmonton. All I did was call there room and pretend that I was front desk. Told them that if they didn't quite down they would be asked to leave. If they didn't cooperate the police would be called to escort them out. Amazingly they stopped. Not saying it will work every time , how ever it did for us. Don't stop taking your family out sledding because of some inbred idiots.keep on sledding.

This happens in all walks of life. Cool that there are so many GOOD people in this sport, and can't wait to hang with them again soon. We have a family trip planned for April, and hearing from everyone here definitely helps with making the girls be comfortable. Thanks and see you on the hills!

(...but yeah, the Train Station sounds like a great idea!)

It's good to hear you aren't giving up this sport because of jerks like that. I can only hope your family feels the same. My family now has 3 generations riding together. Luckily we have never encountered anything like you did in all our years of riding.

That really burns my azz to hear this. I can’t even believe someone could be that belligerent even when drunk. Unreal. Definitely should report to the front desk just so they get flagged. And believe me they do flag people. One night many years ago there was a incident that we ended up with a hole in the wall, which we told them about and paid for( $400 bucks ). Then it was a couple years later, with new owners even we found out we had a red flag on our record. I suspect if you get a certain amount of them they wouldn’t let you book there anymore. I sure hope Karma gets these Smucks real good.

This is uncalled for, Im sorry you had to go through that. You’re a better, stronger person than me. Just reading this is getting my blood to boil, they had alot of gall to leave the safety of their room.

What idiots. I'd have gotten up nice and early and left.... with their tire valve stems in my pocket. Slashing a tire gets you arrested, stealing their valve stems means a hell of a long morning for them. Not many people carry 4 extra valve stems :)
