Honestly, I'd love to see a play off push, but I don't think they can ride this high all season.

If they do, please make me eat crow over this comment, I'll totally enjoy it!

They are turning north for sure ,how far north is the question....lol

There isn't much north of Edmonton. Hell, I know as I spent 25 years up there. Neville, let's just say they have turned a corner. It is sweet to see and I am sure there will be ups and downs around the corner but it has been a long time coming. Go Oilers Go!

Good game last night always great to see them beat the Canucks. If nothing else it's fun watching.

As a loyal fan since the 80's its hard to not get excited but at the same time this team can easily go on a 8 game losing streak. Great early season schedule combined with some decent goal-tending at important times has given them some energy. Remember they let 13 goals in the first 3 games so it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows.

Even the experts have no idea how to rate the possibility of the team this year. There have been too many highs and lows. The next ten games will really show what they are made of.

80-2-0 is still a good record! :p

We were at the game. There was no way they were going to win, Andy was a friggen brick wall. The Sens were not going to lose the game, and it wasn't for lack of trying!

SHould have... Hopefully that will get brought up at the next practice. These guys shouldn't be allowed to give Connor a rough ride and get off scot free, isn't that why we got 27 and 19?

Also, I thought, for the second game in a row, 14 and 27 kinda looked like ****.

Eberle is back to mailing in his performance. Not much effort the last few games.

Not many options for RW though. People thought they should have traded Nuge what a mistake that would have been. He isn't producing huge offence but defensively sound ever shift and creating chances. Had Leon been the second line centre what a drop off there would have been.

I have been SOOOOO impressed with Nuge this year. He's a beast. Leon hasn't been perfect, but he's used to being on a line with a driver (Hall), he will get there. I've never been an Eberle fan, he had a great first 5 games, then fell off again in the next 5 - he should be showing more consistency, IMO

i heard they've been experimenting with pullujarvi in place of eberle, and putting eb onto nuge's line... We'll probably see that tonite a few times

I should be following the practice lines more closely, I guess!

Jesse has looked to be improving and gaining a little confidence to me! He had some good chances in the past couple games. He will be interesting to watch on the line with Connor. Might be a bit chaotic, but could be fun
