Summitric...heard a rumor last night that most of your "home fleet" wouldn't start yesterday...lol...maybe you should plug them in at -35??? lol

:specool: :awesome_dude:

THE BIG RED DODGE STARTS WITHOUT PLUGGING IN(OKAY THIS MORNING, BUT I DID PLUG IN 2 NITES AGO). THE CARAVAN WAS BADLY FLOODED(WIFE DID IT), AND SHE ALSO RAN DOWN THE BATTERY.... TOOK ME 1 1/2 HOURS TO GET IT GOIN' YESTERDAY(WAS OKAY THIS MORNING). THE DAUGHTER'S CAR WOULDN'T START BY REMOTE START ON THE FIRST TRY, SO SHE WENT OUT TO THE VEHICLE AND TRIED TO START IT(SHE SAID JUST ABOUT STARTED), SO SHE LEFT THE IGNITION KEY ON, THINKING IT WIL WARM UP THE IGNITION/CAR.......HAHAHA. WIFEY TOLD HER THAT THAT DOESN'T WORK, AND SHE WENT OUT TO RETRY AND CAR WENT INTO "THEFT SECURITY" MODE. WOULD ONLY START AND STALL. HAD TOWED TO SHOP LAST NITE AND SCANNED THE SYSTEM THIS MORNING AND JUST HAD TO RELEARN THE SYSTEM..... TOO FUNNY!!!!!!!!!!

I am fighting with my diesel right now. even with it pluged in it still doesn't want to turn over. I will be happy when the shop is done in time for summer:tazz: Yes I will be so lucky:rolleyes: I tell you my next place will have a heated shop before I move in no more pi$$ing around with diesels in -40 weather.

New block heater, batteries are a year old. The problem is that I don't drive it very much once a week to feed. So I am not running it is often and the fuel is a little heavy, Still more summer fuel then winter in it. It started fine on Monday but after getting below -40 here. It just told me that it is to cold and go find someone else to bug :p, You know it is a man and I don't know one man that wants to go to work in this cold weather. ;)

All should be good in a hour I hope.

I didn't want to go to work in that weather, but the rig I was on was the only one running down by Medicine Hat, all the others shut down. It was a cold 3 days. My personal pick-up started everyday (plugged in) but it doesn't get warm, have to wear your sno suit to get to work. Only 13 days and then of to the Dominican for 2 weeks:D

Well call me "crazy" but i would rather work in the cold weather rather than the heat. It's way easier to dress for -35 than it is for +35. A pair of nomex fire retardant coveralls and hard hat aren't the nicest things to sweat your bag off in while trippin pipe or running casing.
