FINALLY we got some storage back ! The new bars look wicked, the 2.5 is going to be great and if Im not mistaken, they are quite a bit cheeper for an x model this year ?

Wow ya quite a bit cheaper. Like $1000 cheaper on the MSRP.

I want one but i dont like the Colors, I think ill keep the 2011.

Rode my brother-inlaws 2011 800 E-TEC 163" this weekend in McBride for three days , what an awesome machine:d, ran excellent , will no doubt be snow checking a 2012.

Guess one wont know how hallow it is until they rip one to get a visual.

looks like they made the base models a bit cheaper,

granted they won't have alot of gadgetry or good shocks, but 10,900 for a brand new current model 800 ptek with a 154?!

sounds like they read my suggestion about having a cheaper sled that makes it affordable to buy a new sled with out having to take out a second mortgage.
just wait till thats a last years model! that would be good pick, IMO

does anyone know if the new track fits on older xp,s and is there more clearance up front on the 2012's? do the lugs on this track go all the way to the edge in a 2.86 pitch?

It will fit the previous model year as it is a 2.86 pitch. There isn't anymore clearance than before it has just had enough room to fit all along. The lugs go all the way to the outside to so it is a real 16'' wide track.

Did they narrow the US / Canada gap or reduce the US price too??

Only 1500 difference between Can/US on the summit x 13400/11900.

geez, i wish i had that 2.5" track on my 2011 summit X. On the bright side it will bring the price of aftermarket 2.5" tracks down so i can upgrade.
