I was looking at JD last year, before I bought my riding mower. They do have a good name, but for what I needed. I went with a Ariens from Home Depot.

Ya that was probably a better deal. For our farm we have about 5 acres of grass, and bought a industrial Kubota. Seemed to be a little heavier built than the Deere.

I looked at Kubota too, but I only have about a 1/2 acre of grass to cut. If I had your yard I would have looked at both.

Probably fairly flat too. I actually cant wait to mow the grass again.

Oh ya... I do have a front ditch, but nothing I can't side hill. The neighbors is a little steeper, so I have to hit that straight on. I'm looking forward to some summer.

A 750 is a nice size, that was my first bike about 20 yrs ago. But not a Shadow. I had a CB, with a Vance & Hinz pipe on it. Sure sounded cool

haha my buddy bought a cb 750 a couple years ago. He wants to sell it too. maybe i'll let dad buy the shadow and i'll buy the cb.

Depends what year the CB is. I would take a Shadow over it.

It's just something else to consider, you never know. The Shadow could turn out to be a bigger lemon.

The shadow has spent its entire life in Arizona, and only has 2000 miles on it I believe. for a 2006.

I've been away from street bikes for sometime now, but I would think that that is a good deal.
