Been there, when we went it was super dry. Never again. There was no Onion Lake, just a wet spot on the ground.

The humming bird is south west of Rocky Mountian House , very nice area IMO onion lake is small but nice. You can not ride there till after July 1

stay on the designated trail type restrictions....very scenic ride. srd does patrol the area on a regular basis and will check for ins and plates,but are very pleasant if you are being respectfull...they call it a fluz area. forest land use zone.trails are well marked so there is no excuse for straying off

not sure i have seen rhino s in there.you would have to contact srd to know for sure...
