Just wondering how ackward they are for mountain riding? If they restrict
movement when wearing a pack(ABS). Let me know what you think.

I agree - had to adjust my layering plan as well
I've tested mine a few times now and am a "real" believer.

I wear a klim tek vest, beacon, and ABS pack every ride and so does my wife and riding pals. I dont feel right without it now and would never go without...FYI its also a nice warm layer on a cold windy day...there may be a little restriction in movement but you get used to it

First ride took some getting used to a adjusting. After that I don't notice it anymore unless I am NOT wearing it. Like a seatbelt.

I like it and have tested it out a couple times as well.

Klim verson of the TekVest has larger ventng holes.

Bought mine last year after bruising my ribs twice the year before. First ride out took a lil bit to get used to but it really helps me carry the weight of my ABS pack.

All you have to do is slam your chest on the bars once and break your ribs, you will wear one TRUST ME.
Vest is part of my ridding gear, always ride with one now, ribs take to long to heal.
I had to break my ribs twice before i realized im to old to hurt.

I wear a Supersport model Tek Vest - it is a bit restrictive, but the pros outweigh the cons tenfold in my opinion...

part of my riding dress code. my qualifing question is what's 2 days off from work worth, and don't forget about next few weeks being a hurting puppy. sell lots of klim (they're the lighter version) first till they sell out then tek-vest original (little heaver and warmer). call 403-938-0930.

After wearing one for a while it will feel funny riding without one. I had a bruise covering the majority of my chest when I hit the bars a couple of years ago. Well worth the minimal costs.
