I have a question and looking for some help. I have always ran a team clutch with a P85 primary on my Doo's. I am wondering if anyone is running a team secondary with a stock Skidoo Primary. If so what are you guys running for springs and helix. I am looking for a starting point. I am trying to set up up this combination on my Factory Turbo.
Thanks for the help in advance.

What are the benefits of the Team tied conversion? easier removal I can see but what does the clutch do better?

I just think that the team being a bit larger in diameter with give us a bit more options and more speed. I changed my drivers to powder freaks(same size as stock drivers just bigger teeth) and clipped my track and picked up 300 more RPM's. So I am making more track speed as less resistance as it rolls over so much easier now. Now I am over reviving. My belt has bottomed out in my secondary and I am 1/4 inch from the top of my primary. So I am clutched out. The heavier set screws helped on the bottom end but need more tip weight. I am now hitting 8100-8300 RPM and need to be back at 7800-7900. Losing to much HP now.

Not enough info unfortunately. Secondary setup will dictate the primary setup. Im assuming you have A MM setup so those helix angles will be a mystery. Maybe try ken and see what he recommends for the pdrive with his secondary.

Load more pivot weight to it get the rpm where it needs to be.

Thats one advantage. But what i like about it is that the sheaves open parallel so it doesn't scrub the belt when its opening. Its hard to explain but essentially its more efficient in theory. I notice the response is improved. its an expensive mod, is it worth the big bucks? hard to say. But its definitely an improvement. That being said it tunes completely different so welll be working on a conversion kit and calibration next fall so guys can just bolt it on and go without having to tinker with setups for the new 850t

i prefer my floating QRS with DJ's QR11 helix on my boosted XM over the team. i found the team secondary"lazy" for the lack of a better word. if i remember right it is a strait 60 helix with a purple spring. gonna try it this weekend again though as i busted a high torque rollers on the QRS and doubt i will find any today. running the doo black spring in the QRS and running the TRA primary.

MM has always run the team with the P85. There has been set ups with both stock primary an secondary but not with the the team and stock primary. Right now my clutching is bone stock.

For now load more weight in the primary to get your rpm back down. Your 300 rpm high?. Try 4 grams heavier spacer on the pivot bolt, or go to a bolt supply house and find a heavier

If im understanding correctly your in uncharted territory than with the team and the Pdrive. You can try the team secondary and see how the sled reacts to that setup.

If you want you can drop your sled off in edson and I can help you out this weekend, snow is going away around home fast tho.
Ive been itching to play with the clutches on a turbo anyway.

You’ll have lots of time next year when you pick yours up. ;)
