TCSC - MINISTIK UPDATES 2018

We are sorry to say that the fore cast does no look good for snowfall and snowmobiling.

There is no new snow in the fore cast from Dec 17 to January 2

Also the temperature is dropping to Minus 20 degree for this time too which typically is too cold to make any snow.

Will keep everyone in touch if anything changes

The weather is just not cooperating this year,me and the boy were hoping for enough snow to ride ministik over the holidays.

I would say no it will not open till after at least Jan28 as there is no snow in the forecast for next 14 days

it's all up to SRD..... I'm sure Brian will post here as soon as he hears from them. IIRC there needs to be 6" in the parking lots before they will open the gates.

i have emailed and phoned AESRD today Friday January 26,2018.
Requesting confirmation if Ministik is open or closed.
Hope to hear back from AESRD by late Friday Afternoon
will post here and on Facebook with their decision.

Over 8 inches has fell so far in the area,and it's not done.Good job on the snow dance fellers!!!!!

MINISTIK is now open January 26,2018.
We have plowed out parking lot 33.
We groomed the North section on Saturday Jan 27.

Rode the trails today first time in 30 years of sledding. Trails were in great shape, lots of snow! Thanks for the hard work!

Rode yesterday with the boy and some friends.It was a great day even though the boy seized his sled and we had to tow it back.I'll be ordering a piston and rings today,I gotta get him up and running so we can get out there and ride.
