Yes ths is normal

We operate 65km of SNOWOBILE trails in a the MINTISK BIRD SANCTUARY, which is a designated bird/eco area.
Everything we do (And you to) is monitored by AESRD to maintain the SANCTUARY's protection.
Our Season is December 1 with 6" of snow until February 28 - that is the approximate time the geese start returning

CASE IN POINT: DEC 2014
We had 10-12" of snow Dec 3- Gates opened
We groomed 30 KM of trails Dec 3 & 4
By Dec 10 temperatures went to +10
Gates were closed from December 13, 2014 until now February 7, when we received 6" more snow

So no Motorized machines after Feb 28 to scare the birds from nesting
Generally the snow is ice hard and some grass showing with no cooling effect by then too.

Thank you very much for the explanation. I never knew it was a bird sanctuary, so now this makes perfect sense. Thanks again!
