Well after the huge rain storm on January 26, 2016 AESRD Closed Ministiks gates.

AESRD did open the gates for the weekend of January 23 with only the minimum of 6" of snow but no one could see the rain we got on Jan 26.
It turned the 6" of snow to 3" of ice and where the sled tracks were it was just packed ice. That ice will offer no cooling and would burn out your sliders.


So Ministik is CLOSED until we have a 6" snow storm in February.

But in any case Ministik does Close March 1 each year for the geese to return.

We always get Ministik cleared and open for the season...then groom as snow pack permits...

But like all sledders we also ride where the snow is...on other clubs trails, Jamborees and the mountains

But this year is very bad for most clubs with limited snow pack
