Its a crap shoot..........

Taylor is better right now (maybe) has heart,goes into the tough areas, prooven winner and has chemistry with Ebrle BUT... played on a better team always had more line support.

Tyler is a centre, a year younger than Hall, played on a worse team with less quality linemates and still managed the same points. Many scouts think at 25yrs Tyler will be a higher impact player than Taylor....

That said.....

Taylor Hall is the safe pick, no one will critisize if in 3 years Tyler is a better player, they will say "how could they have known, too bad"

Tyler is the risky pick, could pan out better, but if in 3 yrs Hall is outperforming him many fans will cry foul and want heads on platters.

If it were me I'd work out a deal with Boston swapping cogliano & a pass on Taylor Hall for thier #15 pick... I'd take Tyler with my #1 overall and rebuild the team around him with Hemsky as his wingman...

Do you mean which kid are they going to destroy by bringing him to Edmonton and putting the responsibility of the success of the whole franchise on his shoulders in his first year in the league? Does it really matter? The whole fan base will be treating him like Comrey or Pronger by Christmas unless he single handedly puts the Oilers in first place overall.
