Emma, I am what you would call, a heavily tattooed individual. In as many shops as I've been in, and around thru the years, it is pretty much considered a cardinal sin for one artist to touch anothers work, unless extraordinary circumstances superceed. IMO anyone that would even consider touching someone elses work, is NOT the person that I would want inking me. No couth, no class. IMO you need to really research the style, type, creativity, and longevity of the artist, and the art that you are after. Jumping into things like this are costing you alot of $$, and pain (removal).
I hate to see you having so much trouble getting what you want, but maybe more thought into what you really want is the way to approach it.

just my $0.02 good luck

Ya I will try and take a pic of what it looks like so far and post it.
I had one 4 hours session and wasnt loving it....but it was hard to visualize so I went back and did 4 more hours.....still not lovin it so not gonna bother having her finish it. I have shown it to numerous tat places to see what they think or visualize and they ALL say the same thing...."wtf? why is some thick, some thin, the color is blah, looks old and its brand new, etc etc ".

Ya I hear ya....I actually did put thought into it and researched artists on the type that I was looking for on my back. The wrists...no that was spur of the moment dumbness. I have gone to Classic, Soulcase, Swollen Goat, Bushido and Deadly....and they all said they would finish it.
