In some of the other states, these actions could have escalated to a shooting or two. Scenes of Easy Rider come to mind. The riders are very lucky he did not hit reverse and stomp the gas.

. Actually no. The main difference between my attitude towards bikers and vise versa is that I would never provoke a situation like these clowns did. I wish it would of only been a couple bad apples but there were a whole pack of idiots swarming the driver. Let's just say I was not surprised when I seen a bunch of bikers in their 'club' ride acting like total animals.
What I'm saying, is don't generalize towards all bikers because of groups like that, which is what your first comment certainly came across as.

I am not saying what they did was right, in fact it was a complete douche manaveur and hopefully they catch the bastards, but I dont think its fair to paint a group or as you say a "gang" of bike riders all with the same brush. There are plenty of people, myself included that like to ride in bigger groups and do so safely and legally.

I said I am sure that is not the whole story so don't just sit there and think they randomly beat some guy for no reason. Explain to me how the "gang" of bikers would know someone called 911 on their phone inside their vehicle? They wouldn't. I bet the were ripping around doing stunts and the driver was annoyed or was perhaps cut off so he either swerved at them or did something else which escalated things.

i wouldn't rely on none of the news, they can't even get the story staright one says its a 5 mounth old child another says 2 years old. one says no injurys other then the driver, one says a biker has a broken leg and another says a biker was killed

if this all arised because the driver gave a biker the finger and that biker forced him to stop like he did in the start of the video it got way out of hand way to fast and should never have happened. no biker would ever forceably stop a vehicle on the highway thats talking on a cell phone. the biggest problem is no one knows for sure what was the first domino

i feel for ALL involved and glad i wasn't there and hope the victims can heal up quickly, weather that means moving on with there lives or recieving the charges for the crimes they did, only time will tell.
I wouldn't rely on what fox "news" has to say. Either way how would the bikers know he called 911 anyway. I doubt that report is anywhere near what actually happened.

They said on Global at lunchtime that the police had received close to 200 complaints about the pack of bikers and there antics that day. Not sure why the cops didn't do something about it? The driver will be ok after his hospital stay and the biker that was run over may never walk again. A number of the bikers are being charged as the guy with the helmet cam voluntarily turned himself into police this morning. There will be no charge s to the SUV driver. The police commissioner said he did what he needed to do to protect his family.

Apparently they DID do something about it. The main "event" (think Big Iron Shootout) where every machine was to meet at Times Square was met with checkpoints and cops, so the event splintered off into a bunch of rowdy groups.

Possibly. It's also possible they wouldn't fawk with someone who possibly has a CCW permit. Do you think this would have went down this way in Texas or LA? You absolutely would not stop short and start attacking someones car in Houston unless you were prepared to die, fortunately only crazy people are willing to take it to that level.
