Interesting comment.... highly presumptuous!!! Apparently the only mountain market skidoo has is in BC...?!
Poor guys in Colorado will just have to work around the “BC sled” calibration??

thats not what i was implying. if it could get the same boost level its giving at 7000ft that it is at 8000ft right now but then just cary on the compensation to 10k for guys in colordado etc. I made the BC comment because there isnt alot of folks from the western USA on here. So basically a 8-10hp increase at 7000ft and then cary that forward to 10k

Stole this from a FB post from a very respectable dude and it's Spot on, keep in mind this is coming from a guy who rode doo for a long long time.

Granted I’m still learning how to ride this machine and maybe I could have been a bit cleaner through these trees. But this Polaris keeps changing my perspective on how I look at different lines in the trees now. I can ride 25-30% more aggressive lines in the steep trees then I ever could have before. It is really cool how stable and confident you are in these situations, which is something I never felt before. I have been told I need to try a Rmk as they are even more stable then the khaos. I really enjoy this angle of my GoPro to show you all how much control you can have in the

You all need to understand a turbo does nothing for you in riding trees like this and you need a machine that holds a line like a knife.
Get out there and enjoy your day everyone and practice makes perfect

LMAO

ya thats from Cody Borchairs. hey would you switch to polaris if we gave you a free sled and you market it like its the best thing ever? ya ok!! Polaris is really scraping the bottom of the barrel for snowcheck season and promoting their product in "you dont need a turbo" fashion. What Cody should have done is left skidoo out of his post like a true professional, and just said hes really enjoying the change. Granted cody has no association with polaris. But guys like burandt are making themselves sound pretty unprofessional aswell. You would never hear a true pro like Carl Kuster going off like some of these Polaris Kids are. Of course you dont need a turbo, you dont need a 850 either. But the Skidoo turbo is king of the hill in all aspects no argument. Dont give me that BS about how the polaris " cuts like a knife" bahahahahahahahaah!! the same capable rider will put each of these sleds in the exact same spot. NOTHING about the polaris "chassis" allows it to operate any better in steep terrain. The only people that have a problem with that are people that try to ride a skidoo that never have and cant make it go where they want to go, well no kidding, that works the other direction too. I cant put your polaris where you can because i dont ride one. These machines all have skis and a track and the chassis concepts are very similar. Any terrain your putting your sled in regardless of brand is due to your skill and seat time on said "chassis". What seperates these sleds now is that one has 20-40 More HP at altitude. And thats a massive difference. I find it absolutely HILARIOUS, that for the last 10 years every single person on snowandmud and social media in general was saying all they wanted was factory boost, or " I just want my HP at altitude" well now we have it, and there is nothing out of the box that will touch this sled in deep snow and all of the POLARIS die hards are sitting back saying "we dont need that, we need our knife cutting precision chassis from 2011" LMAO!! you guys should really hear yourselves, its quite funny. You guys are the back peddling masters this season. But hey, whatever works for you, in reality why change it if your comfortable with it. Just dont go on social media and say things like "you dont need a turbo" because you know what? Thats not for Cody Borchairs to decide, thats for me and my hard earned dollars to decide if i need that or not. These guys posts just sound like grasping straws, poor, unprofessional approach. Then they all comment on eachothers stuff and burandt comes and gives them a high five " ive beens saying this for years" ya ok bud, if polaris did this you would be mocking us like crazy LOL!!! the problem with alot of these guys is they lose alot of credibility once you add the "sponsor" aspect to it, regardless if its through a dealer or through the manufacturer. ESPECIALLY when they start jumping from brand to brand and instantly start posting like that. I bet most people wanting to pull the trigger on a new machine are far more likely to appreciate the reviews and data from regular joes on here that arent partial to one brand. And when someone that isnt partial to one brand jumps on a skidoo turbo, their reactions are all the same. Priceless.

Agreed. His attitude towards products has always been the same. If he gets it for free or for a great deal he will promote the hell out of it. Take that freebee away from him and it no longer work for him.

Speaking of grasping at straws ^

I'd say Borchers is one of the most down to earth honest dudes I've met in the sledding industry.

I never said a turbo wouldn't be fun for a day or two, hell I almost bought a sidewinder last year, which is still a better choice than the doo since at home the doo makes no more power anyways and has the added weight with basically zero gain. I'm not gonna ride a chassis I hate just to be able to catwalk further (same reason I didn't buy a winder)

Hey Caper I'm thinking you have an inside track on whats happening in your town. Whats your take on Cody leaving the Riderz group of Jay and Jay? We were kinda in the impression he had partially bought in to the dealership? Anything you can share?

Take the freebee’s away from any of them and they would be gone .

I think we see alot of that with sponsored riders. Some don't have a real job and will do anything to ride for free. This is why I have the question out to Caper. I had heard he was a part owner at Riderz.

I love walkin' all over the place that's why the winder was so tempting, makes flatland riding way more fun, they don't come back down to earth quite so nicely though.
