i am curoius to know what he is using for his clutch setup, i read a lot in the turbo form last year on clutching and tried lots of peoples setups, besides a straight 50 helix. spent lots money on springs and fooling with weights, never really found the end all be all setup.

Contact Neil at Boost-It, or look on his website as he sells a complete turbo clutch kit. It came with my turbo kit that I'm going to begin installing this week. He also goes by NM on this forum.

You need to have a variable restrictor in the exhaust. i tried. it isnt easy, quick or cheap.

By the time you get it sorted out it will likely be as heavy as a 4-stroke and it wont be anywhere near as efficient as a turbo 2 stroke.
Just a thought, but why not try an external wastegate from a turbo with a pinched back stinger? You could hold back pressure at idle then the wastegate opens for free flow at WOT.

That's the opposite of what you want to do, there is no boost to hold in at idle, you want backpressure at WOT to hold in the compressed charge from the supercharger. It could work if there was a way to ensure backpressure increased with the boost.

A supercharger should be in boost at idle even if only 1lb. I thought the problem with these kits was them flaming out at idle.

Have a Turbo feeding into the supercharger. Best of both worlds

I've been running a super charger on my 2012 m8 since new the only issues I've had are the motor case broke from vibration and that had bein fixed with a new brace. Speedwerx paid for my case. The sled makes really great power and works like a stock sled if ya need instant power grab a full hand full but if you need to low speed controlled movements it will idle around also.

I have a 13 m8 with pro charger so far it's awesome and I had a boondocker turbo before this and compared to the boondocker turbo this sled rocks no lag and so clean running think make boost all the time so your in the power the second you touch the throttle

Keep in mind being on boost all the time means extra fuel all the time.
