Unfortunately, I said I would NEVER upgrade out of the YZ 85, and I would love to stick to my beloved Yamaha but I am afraid the day will come soon enough that I will need a bigger bike and unfortunately the only brand names so far that can accomodate me are Kawasaki and KTM (the kx100 and sx105) 125's are much too tall and heavy for me but I've ridden a fellow Snow&Mudder's KX100 when we met up for a ride..... and not bad, loved the bigger tires and the better control then my 85, but I hated how I felt sitting on it..short & narrow handle bars, sitting up so tall & close to the tank, I love my long wide handle bars and how i sit so relaxed and laid back on my bike, so comfy..would like to test out the SX105 in comparison to the KX100. However, I do love the fact that my bike has 6 gears and rips like snot!

Hahaha Mat I just thought of a funny moment at Long Island when me and my gf were about to attempt the big hill climb and you were calling your sons pussies because they were scared... "Common you pussies..look! the girls are going to do it!" I was quite proud of myself to be the only person NOT riding a 250 to make it up that hill the first attempt! I used to have lots of issues with hill climbs..

Yes I will fix it in order to sell it, (better resell value) This bike was a bad choice for a beginner and it is not a very good trail bike. But I'm glad my son drawn a 2 strokes...not a 4 strokes...$$$ We were able to get it out of the wood on is own power and got 5 hrs of ridding before it seized

AJ I'm glad to see that you decide to go w/ 250f not a 150r

Yzgirl, you should look into a crf 230L, like AJ said you can shave the seat and change the linkage to lower the bike.

I'm glad to hear that you didn't think that I was to tough w/ my sons, but they need to be push some times... I 'm really proud of them, they only been ridding for a month...

Hill climb are challenging, but SO rewarding...remember how you felt when you got on top...good feeling hey! That is why i like ridding so much, pushes you to your limits and make you feel good about your self... (PRIDE) then you need to think about this feeling to overcome every day challenges...You can tell a lot about a person and how they live there live by the way they ride. When my son drawn the YZ, I was not upset that the bike was in the water to the tank, but by is decision making skills (line choice) and at my self for taking to rookies at Hell's half acreage...but like I say often, No pain No gain...
