I have a 1998 Summit X 670 with almost 9000 Kms on it. Been a great sled until this year. On the first ride of the season it looks like the crank bearing went taking the crank shaft and smashing the heck out of the crank case as well. Can't really complain though because it has been a great sled. I like it so muck I am waiting for a short block to get it repaired. No major mods. Painted the screens yellow, MBRP standard can, header wrap on the exhaust to replace the cracked heat shield.

Great little sled, takes a lickin and never been towed off the hill. I have 5900k's on mine still good compression, rebuild to 1mm overbore next summer. Great on gas, handles good with the right mods.

What did you do with your seat, it looks like you added onto it?

Well a week before heading out for our first trip my Black Lab decided that he would help in the Modding department. Had to get it fixed quick so just got a local plach to fix it up and build up the foam at the same time. I'm not real happy with but was in a hurry. Looking at converting a Rev seat for it.

Here's mine. I sold her last season. Had over $18,000 into it. Full motor big bore, bored carbs, clutch kit, Mountain Magic chassis rebuild with D&R, race ignition, manual jetting, camoplast 141, extroverted drivers, hyperfax, lightened up everything, simmons, custom bar, billet riser (up and forward 5 inches), skid relocate, digitron, big john clutching. SOld her for $4500 last year, it was mint and I will always cherish that sled, bulletproof, you could hold it wide open for 2 minutes. I really loved it. But too many sleds in the stable, so we had to part ways. Ciao Codey, Brad Cadieux.
