Saturday sRic, Martin (A buddy) and I buzzed into Calgary from Kananaskis, where we were golfing, to pick a sled from JoHNI_BLaZe. Last season he clipped a tree and she needs some serious TLC.
The right ski is pushed back 5 inches and although the phots doesn't show it Johni did a real number on the sled. Teardown will start shortly to see what parts need replaced.
JBZ didn't have no beer for us though...whats that all about JBZ...lol...

I tried to explain that to JBZ and sRic but they just couldn't wrap their heads around it...maybe your input will help.

We got some strange looks when we drove through Calgary...someone even threw us the bird...was that you Fab????lol...

Re: Summitrics new toy (needs some work)

Here are a couple more photos from last nights tear down.

Not bad JBZ...my guess is a new tunnel and numerous parts that are broken and bent. sRic was on the net hunting for parts last night. It's gonna be a fun project.

Re: Summitrics new toy (needs some work)

Now that looks like a little bit of JBZ carnage right there. Should be a fairly easy fix. Could of been worsest :d I'm sure it will be a good fall project for the "boyz n beer" crew.

My son and i have almost finished build a '04 summit 800ho 151" sled. We have combined 2 sleds to build 1...... Johnnie-blazes '04 800 highmark with extensive right front damage(hit tree hard) and a fellow named lance from peace river's '04 800 x model(ex hillclimber rookie of the year champion in the bc hillclimber circuit)........ The '04 "x" model had a 670x engine on nitrous, that he raced for 1 race in the grass drags and won the 700mod class, but he pulled the engine etc, so a lot had to be converted back to the 800. Here are some pics of the before of the chassis, during work, the tunnel before and the completed sled(still needs a few things, eg. Bar hooks, taillite kit, etc.) and a pic with me and my son(who polished the tunnel...... Looks great. What do ya think..... Not bad for what should equal about $2300.00 total by the time everything is sold off the extra parts etc..........
