No change in my life, work is busy as always. I average 30hr OT a month. I have curbed spending though and my wife and I are not travelling abroad this year. All my toys are paid for so only have a mortgage and my wifes pickup payment. For me these events opened my eyes, and carrying debt is not a good thing. Things are going to implode as debt ratios get out of control.

Haha, no problem. It’s my forte! I bring wisdom, drama, comedy and some weird chit to the forum. Not necessarily in that order!

I had a 2010 Forte SX for 5 years till my wife wrote it off...don’t worry...only thing hurt was her pride. Not one single problem in 160,000 km.

As for the OP question, things slowed down for 3 months but its pretty much back to normal for my wife and I. I sure feel for the people that have been greatly affected...hope things get better

Too bad KD and Catman10 couldn’t mend things up. They could have been a dynamic duo. With KD’s pot growing skills and Catman10 fibreglassing they could have built amazing grow ops. Called them the “Hot Pot House” and their slogan “ You need grass? Grow it in fibreglass!” Alas I think we will never see it through fruition.

By the time the Turd is done with his spending spree, even the retired people will be looking for a job.

At our last supper together, Catman and I actually talked about this. Can you believe it?

Last night I thought about it some more. If the hot pot house was shaped like an 6ft or taller large egg, semi gloss white on the inside, no corners for ease of cleaning and cut horizontally with a two foot bottom filled with growing medium. Then the top 4 ft could be on hinges. Open hot pot house at 8 am, close hot pot house at 8 pm. When closed, it would simulate darkness to trigger budding for 12 hrs daylight, 12 hours dark. I would be the first to purchase one. Right now I use a grow tent to bud early and avoid mold and frost. It’s a pain and lasts only one season. It costs $400.

Paint it camouflage to blend in with the surroundings and yer good.
I’d pay 2k for a heavy duty hot pot house for sure. It would last for years.

It would take a few years to get the product out there but once it’s up and running, it’d have good profit margins.

Alas, it may never happen. Another million dollar idea.

Could make the bottom a rain barrel and fill it from your eaves trough.

Haha you just solved my problem. I’m gonna use a 50 gallon plastic barrel to cover my plant to simulate darkness! I was giving up this year but now I’m excited!
Here at snowandmud we make frenemies, solve world problems, draw on people’s faces and come up with million dollar ideas!

See Kanedog instead of us pissin on each other we should have been designing the perfect pothouse, coulda been my thriving year instead of my poverty year, oh well I have been so busy siphoning gas from all the neighbours just so I have fuel for sledding this year, no time for pothouse building....priorities!

You jerk, we coulda had some extra sledding money by now! We are gonna have to hit shark tank now.
I’m thinking an egg 🥚 shaped pot house like Mork from Ork’s egg. The egg top needs a electric over hydraulic opener behind the plant so it can be put on a timer but not obstruct the sun in the front. It could be an upgrade for the guys who don’t want to get up at 8am and manually open the egg.

We really should keep fighting tho. Snow and mudders will have no drama to watch. Peeps will feel let down. Haha

Well maybe the mork egg pothouse will be in my future but for now it will just be in my thoughts. On another note I finally got a quad for the boy and after talking to 5 different dealerships they are all empty, sold out and no inventory, definitely thriving but now have other issues like getting parts etc. The arctic cat dealers are not allowed to sell any of the lawsuit cats so they may be suffering by winter and they are not happy about that. In the suffering column right now in my area is the farmers, really affected by all this rain, can't spray, can't get the hay off, pretty stressed out for now, I hope things smarten up as they have had a tough run lately.
