Sturgeon River Ice

Looking to do a river run this weekend. Anybody know how the ice is on the Sturgeon?

Not 100% sure but think it's good to go. However, I do know that there is open water where it enters Lac Ste Anne due to abnormally high water levels in the lake.

From what I see on that little section I drive over every day, it looks good

For the most part the Sturgeon and Redwater Rivers are fine but look out for open water. Even after this cold there are some weak spots.

Always watch around beaver dams too
