Single sled, and a sled deck on a half ton, and his headlights are signalling airplanes to land.

Labour day classic in Regina, sitting in my grader blocking traffic. See some interesting people. This guy almost missed the game and didn’t have time to get out of his pyjamas.

Many things wrong with this, the blocking underneath the wall plates, needs double cap plate, no treated bottom plate, the truss heels are not only on a single top plate, (which should be double) but they don’t line up with any of the studs below, this will look real nice after the live loads from a heavy snowfall, It also looks like it’s right on the property line. Good luck if he decides to sell this will have to be torn down. The next pictures are even worse. This caps the ultimate stupid things people do. Lol

Come on Ron. cut the guy some slack. He likely hasn't watched Mike Holms make it right.

I think an anonymous call to the inspections dept is in order before he gets totally underwater on this. They make him tear it down now, or the wind blows it down in a month...makes no diff to me. Although I love the pics and updates....

The guy building the garage tore it down with permission from the fence owner.

This garage gets even stranger. The guy building it didn’t get a permit. The fence neighbor reported him to the city with pictures. The permit was purchased after the building was erected. The inspector finally came out and passed the construction with the caveat that he add more concrete fasteners for the walls. Absolutely absurd, and the best part of all is the guy building the garage is a home inspector!!!
