Stuck Straps

Cut 5 foot lengths, tie with arff's knot and you should end up with just under 2.5 foot loop. sell for 10 bucks a pop. repeat.

3 bucks a loop knot fee.

I cut up a couple expired kids car seats. Likely someone you know has one or maybe hunt on Kijiji? Once they're done you can't even give them away, and there's usually about 2 short with double loops, 2 medium with double loops and 1 long strap worth in each seat (sometimes the long strap only has a loop in one end). Or go to the auto wrecker and get a seat belt.

That looks like good stuff. You could probably go to a shoe repair place and have the ends sewn into loops.

I have used them on Snowbikes and sleds. Much easier on the back. If I could carry it easily I would still like the bungie though.

I saw one guy with them just dangling from the bars when not in use. I would prefer to stow them and want something compact to get quick access and stowage. Ease of use is key I think.

Have used snowbunjie before just really bulky to carry around and pain to dig out. The straps by Zacs have really sped up the tow out process, sometimes put one guy on each and out comes the sled. Even use as strap on back bumper to lift sled when necessary.

Carry a strap in coat pocket and one on handle bars. A great way to save the back as well.

There must be a bungie type of material out there by now that is much more compact. I found with the older style bungie you could get a good 2ft of pull before reset with just a strap it would be much less.

I carry a short loop of 7/16” rope as well as a longer loop of bungee cord. I single, double or triple loop either one as required...each scenario is different. I usually arrange for the rope knot to be in a position where it is within the grip of my hand...I find it to be more comfortable this way. I also prefer the rope over a strap...seems to put less pressure on the hand.

Gregg Distributors and Princess Auto carry 4 and 5 foot double loop slings for under $10. I carry 2 in each sled, they make great tow ropes when looped together also.
