Hello i have a 2004 yamaha 200 Blaster and i was riding earlier and muding etc and i did use the clutch every time i shifted. And then i rode back to my house. and then tride shifting down but i couldnt so i tried shifting up and i cannot. I turn off the quad and try shifting same thing i try rocking it and shifting and it will not work but when i start up my quad i can ride in first gear but thats the only gear i can ride on and i cannot shift so please help me or tell me anything you think can be wrong and some suggestions you may have thanks.

my buds did that and he sad something broke he found out by takin it apart i dont know if u want to do that urself id take it in to get it done

Had a LT-Z400 do the exact same thing(locked in gear), took it apart and blam= munched tranny parts.

had the same prob, but on a 250cc moto-x bike, opened it up and was just a spring wedged in between the gear, pulled it out replaced the shifter leaver spring that day and was on the track again with no worries!
