Hope the owners find the pr!cks. Enough is enough. Police can't do anything.

One day they will steal something from the Wrong group of people Then will see who laughs last

Having been thru the process twice, i feel your pain, the last time a-hole was caught, but was released before i even had a chance to get to the RCMP station to identify and claim my goods. The officer in charge agreed you just have too take law an order into your own hands,as he left the interview room he was kinda enough to leave the file open and pointed out that there is some good reading right there,i'll be right back i'm just going down to lock-up to get some of your things.Address and name and a good look at the photo was all i needed, lets just say that, that guy will never play the piano again!!!!!!!!!"PAY BACK IS A BITCH"

Haven't been on in a while, but those were my sleds stolen. Still no sign of them, and the police closed the file 5 days after I reported them. Had insurance on the sleds , but not on the trailer.

I feel your pain. Good friend of mine had two sleds and a trailer stolen out of a locked compound in Lacombe on the 21st between 8 pm and 8 am. The cops asked if he had any surveillance. That was the end of the conversation. The sleds were a 98 670x (black and red accents) and a 98 500 (black with yellow accents) summit.

Like my sons dirtbike I just recovered 7 yrs later, the cops said its not worth the paperwork to file charges with the original seller of this bike..................THAT THERE is why there are so many of these POS FKN THEIVES. Theres NO repercussions for these USELESS SCUM!

I just took my mom's POS 2000 Chrysler Neon to Pecos' garage for a new ignition. Someone has tried to steal it twice lately in southwest Penhold, AB.

Not sure if its the two "new Canadians" or the two 30ish white dudes trolling the alley... The trail cam hopefully will tell us...prob won't call the cops though. ;-)

That right there is also why people hate cops. Easier to wright a traffic ticket than do any real work.
I wonder about paperwork for assaulting a pos police officer would be

You know...

I think they should press charges to the people who possess these things. It is their responsibility to have these vehicles checked out to avoid risk of being an "accomplice to theft of a vehicle". That would smarten a few up..maybe catch a few on the way too.

I agree, the cops said since the sin numbers were ground off that theres no legal proof of the bikes "previous ownership" :/ and that charges would more than likely NOT hold up in court......

Yet when anything happens with anything else THEY "the cops" are right on it to press the charges even if you ask not to!!!!!

Buying something with ground off serial numbers is a pretty good sign it's stolen and they still wouldn't press charges???

I say shoot the thief and hobble the cop who was to lazy to try and do his JOB.

It's a real piss off when the RCMP won't take 2 min to check a vin on a sled or quad when they stop someone for any other traffic offense. I'm sure a lot of property wound be found and less people would be buying stolen stuff.
New sign on my garage, GET CAOGHT-GET SHOT! Not saying, just saying.

So im thinking since the last 2 times i have went to bc i have had my quads/sleds and tuck trailer stolen, maybe i should sleep in my back seat with my shot gun. all the gun is for is a noise maker to wake up every sledder in the area to see and help me convince the thief to stop stealing. a little hard working payback.
