You can shed alot of weight off a stock M8 which improves your hp to weight ratio by quite a bit. Here are some pictures of some Skinz product added to a 08 M6 that really improved the sled. As you can see in the picture the Skinz exhaust can sheds quite a bit of weight when compared to the Arctic Cat suitcase. The Skinz hood sheds weight, increase underhood cooling and is more durable than stock. As you can see a Skinz seat was also installed along with Airframe running boards and a tunnel kit. The running boards and tunnel kit dont save much in the way of weight but increase performance or the handling of the sled in deep snow.

The best thing you can do is get rid of the stock track, and bolt up a 2.5" camo extreme.

My 09 with the RKT head and clutch kit works pretty good. If i was gonna put a pipe set up on it, it would be speedwerx but then you are dealing with a fuel controler which i thought was a pain in butt at first but then i learned how to use the boondocker and its not that bad when using an air/fuel guage to tune. I also have a D&D intake on it which people told me that they get boggy in real deep snow..not the case with mine. I had it in 3 feet of fresh powder in mcbride 2 weeks ago and the only time it bogged out was when the entire hood was covered and it only happened once. Next thing on the list is a camo 2.5 162. Also get rid of the stock seat and put the new style one on there.

Jaws cans are loud! And when I say camo extreme track don't get the new style one. It's the one that is smooth across the top of the paddles. I talked to a few guys with them and they don't work as good. You want the one with ribs on the top if the paddles.

I love my new camo extreme track. it doesn't trench as bad as the old style. Ya it's not very good on I've or hard pack but you can't have everything.

up grade your seat. up grade your rear tunnel section, switch tracks(i went to the powerclaw). but the camo extreme sounds better. I put the full slp exaust and power commander controller, RKT 36/38p clutch kit and runs well.
