an M6 is more than enough sled for a woman... an M8 is a man's sled......

I actually tackled a guy into a snowbank a few weeks ago...I turned around got him in a headlock and pushed him down into the snowbank and punched him repeatedly in the stomach...

Well, atleast now I know what NOT to say to you! :nono::d;)

hehee Wish I could have seen that!

Okay, I know this is an old thread but I thought it was hilarious when I purchased my quad. I walked into the dealership and knew exactly what I wanted, Id scouted and priced out my new baby. I went up to the salesman and told him 'Okay, so Im looking at the 750 Brute.." and he cut me off with 'your husband will love it!' and starts going off on how great it is and he made a good choice. Then he asked if I wanted it put on hold for 'him' to come in and do the paperwork or if I was to take care of it. I corrected the salesguy at this point by telling him I was infact single, and the quad was for me so yes Id like to take care of the paperwork now. :/ To top it off, when I picked up my rig, in my pickup, he felt the need to show me the killswitch and the locking diff lever. I told him I knew my way around the quad and could even change the oil, not my first rodeo, and he looked like a deer in the headlights. I dont know.. maybe they dont have women coming in and buying machines often?? :p:cool:

OK....

Being a woman rider we can be minding our own business, trying to ride to our best ability, yet certain stereotypes seem to follow....

Here's the woman rider stereo types that make me want to blow....

First of all... My statement.... I would like a 162" track instead of a 153".....

The Stereotype: A 153" is more than enough for you....Meanwhile all the men are chattin about increasing their track length and no one bats an eye..... BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

They have NOOOOO idea the terrain I ride in, or the type of rider I am... their statement is purely based on the fact that I am a Woman.....

Stereotype 2:
I ride an M8....... When a Man says... an M6 is more than enough sled for a woman... an M8 is a man's sled......

I actually tackled a guy into a snowbank a few weeks ago... he was new to our group.. he made a crack trying to get my goat. He said I should ride a 250 bravo.... I turned around got him in a headlock and pushed him down into the snowbank and punched him repeatedly in the stomach... Probably not a great first impression.. .but I think I got my point across. :p:d

So it's safe to say he got your goat then?

I am sorry ladies but the only way you are going to get any respect from the cromagnons is beat them over the head (or put them into a headlock) with what you can do. My wife who is all of 5'1" is not the person to piss off(think wet bantam hen) the last time she went to go buy a truck, the sales man said the same old crap" when will your husband be here" didn't get the sale needless to say. Times are changing ladies and there is quite a few of us "gentlemen" who have absolutely no problems with riding a woman( wait that didn,t come out right) WITH a woman! I have seen some of the videos of some of you ladies riding, you just as nuts as the men!!!!;)

IMO The bigger the machine the better for a woman. the first time I took my lady to the mountains I got her a 800 bombi with the 163 2.5 on it. she loved it!!! and it was great for me cuz I had the confidence of knowing that as long as she squeezed the throttle the sled would get her there! She felt confident also knowing she had a real sled under her ass. The idea that a woman needs a lesser machine is completely backwards in my opinion. When I guy is struggling to get his 800 or 1000 or turbo or whatever over a mountain how the hell is a less experienced rider on a sled thats less powerful suppose to make it??? My woman loves driving my Brute force too. when we go out with the group and I get a little too typsy to drive she takes the helm and I tell ya for a woman thats 5'1" and 110lbs she can rip it up!!! even with my big carcass on the back! She loves it cuz it has tons of power and she beats all the boys in the mud or up the hills! Honestly I love watching her jump on my machine and clean house cuz shes the smallest rider on the biggest machine!!! Absolutely Fantastic to watch!!!:d:beer::d

All the power to you girls out there. dont let the big man take you down!

yup, He got my goat............. and I got about 6 good shots in! :D
Fair is fair.
Women on the hill is just like women in the trades, if you have the skills, gender doesn't matter. Takes some folks a bit longer to figure that out than others.
