Yah. I noticed when looking over the sled after I bought it. Both the bushing block at the front left corner and the one for the steering post seem to have more play then they need to. My sled only has 220 miles on it and when I noticed the play in the bars I started poking around and all the knuckles are tight but there's a little too much space in these bushings. I wonder if I guy couldn't add a thin sleeve of some sort or if tighter bushings are available.
Mines got the same thing at the bottom left
$45 bucks for new bushing and clips or
$140 for whole new drop post with bushing stuff at the botom
everything has no slop but that part in my steering
my worry would be ,could the pin bolt break soon ??
at least it's not much to fix unless the c clip groves that hold the
bushing in are blown out ?
cant tell untill u take it out
any one with pictures ??
There was a bit on the ones that were worn and I put a bit on to the new ones as well.
While this thread is bumped up, does anyone know of a better set up than the stock one(Teflon etc etc)? With only 500km on them and wore out, they'll be getting replaced every trip or two? Not that it's expensive, would just more of a pain in the azz every couple weeks to change them.
