Steering issue,HELP!

Should be an easy fix for someone who knows what there doing(not me).I have a 14 ft glascon fiberglass boat with 50 horse Merc,It pulls hard to the left on the steering wheel,I didnt get a chance to get it in to a shop last year but my nieghbor tells me there is someway to adjust it on the leg.I havnt had it out this year but mayby this weekend.Can anybody confirm this and give me an idea where to start.........hoping for an easy fix,everything else seems fine in the steering!

If everything is in good shape, it's probably the trim tab on the leg. When under power, the motor wants to fall to one side with the water rushing by it. The faster you go the worse it gets.
Right above the prop, there is a small fin that points downward. Around 3" long sitting on a round disc. Like a shark fin but upside down. That fin can be adjusted to make up for this pull. Loosen the one bolt, turn the fin, and retighten the bolt. The bolt is probably hidden under a plastic tab on the top side.
That adjustment should make the steering a little lighter.

X2 it won't take much to effect steering. If it's an easy bolt to reach do it on the water, this way you can fine tune it to go nice and straight.

Took a while to get back here....Thanks guys Im going out this weekend and will see if I can get er straightened out. :beer::beer:
