He’s still riding recreationally, and building 911? big bores and clutch kits for the Gen 4. Actually think he has an ad on kijiji for the big bore kit. Very talented rider, all around good guy and a great ambassador to our sport.
Yep great kid and great family. I miss my phone calls with Bob when we were both dealers.

A few more pics from that weekend. We rode south of Revy the next day. So Waldy goes out on this lake so we can get to the next area. My buddy and I look at each and say “ he’s nuts, I’m not going out there.” He circles back and yells “ pick up your skirts let’s go!” So we skip across the water which felt like a 1000’. So we are circling around on the lake looking for a good place to exit and he yells “ whatever you do, don’t stop on the lake!” lol

Speaking of Cory what ever happened to him? Used to be huge in the sled game but never hear about him anymore?

chatted with him at the sled show this year. hadn't seen him in years. Same thing as what was just said he had some things go south dissapeared for a while but is working on g4 stuff now.

Lots of big climbs in Revy man. How would you feel about trying this line out?

I would feel ill about trying that line. I like to have a treeless, rockless, cliffless runout in case of turnout, ride down or fall off. The blue line is good though. Picking lines on the couch is fun! It hones the skill to see what other people pick. How much snow is left at Revy?

The red line is the one i crashed in 06 BIS. There is a video of it somewhere. Tex posted it once.
Sled was total.
My mistake is i should had gone up and shoveled out the snow drift first but instead ...
BTW made it to the top but the cornice flipped me and sled head over feet and sled mowed me over and all the way down it went. Except it took a different line on the way down, it went through the trees and rock face between the green and red line, got huge air and flipped hard enough that the engine came out when it landed.

If that’s where I think it is I pulled that line a few years ago in mid April.

I’ve looked at Kanedogs blue line a lot and even took a couple run in passes but there’s a pretty good boulder field just up off the lake. In an epic snow year it would be a smooth run in.
