Steel cable or Rope for winch?

There are way more advantages to using rope... it`s lighter, easier to handle, wont rot and will fade but is uv stable. Most important, it goes limp if it breaks and wont cut you in half like steel cable. I have changed over both my quads and my jeep without an ounce of problems. The biggest disadvantage to the rope is it is easily damaged if winching across rocks.

Been using rope on my sportsman 700 2up since Dec 2008 with no problems & i think much better than cable.
