Stay on the hill with sleds!

I have been looking for options to stay at the trail parking lot when I go riding. Too much confusion in hotel parking lots, too much travel time back and forth to unload and load up etc.
I found these cargo trailers that would fit the need of having a multi purpose sled trailer and accomodations that looks pretty decent.
Any body have a rig like this or has the same thoughts as me about staying where ya park?

Those VRV's look pretty cool.Might have to check them out.I'd love to find something that I could use for sleds and quads.

I like that setup. Instead of dragging a nice trailer over salty winter highways use a deck and pick up an older TT in the $5k range.

In 01 that WAS my nice trailer. Hahaha. I think it was a 96 or 97 Mallard. We took 'er up to Chatter Creek in those pics.

The VRV is more sled/atv hauler than traditional Toyhaulers which are more camper than hauler. They are very nice and light with all aluminum construction. Compared to Toyhaulers (of similar length), they have much higher carrying capacity. A great option.

Definitely gonna look at these.We got a big fancy toy hauler that all we do is sleep in.Don't need all that fancy crap.An enclosed with a shower and a fridge is all we need.

We had checked them out a few years back at the RV show in Edmonton..... WAYYYYYYYY back when Posnick was still with Paradise RV...... they were really neat and a good concept, at that time though they only had the style with pop out "tent trailer" type beds on em.

Im getting tired of working for all the bling, so I'm selling our bigger 5th wheel and going truck and camper with trailer behind. Wife's not happy but she doesn't want to go back to work either. Just a place to store some grub and sleep anyways.

there is a group from the Calgary Snowmobile Club that have 4 season truck campers (arctic fox) and pull their sleds on or in trailers, they just camp in the parking lots where ever they go. Just have to make sure you have a true 4 season truck camper or holiday trailer.

there is a group from the Calgary Snowmobile Club that have 4 season truck campers (arctic fox) and pull their sleds on or in trailers, they just camp in the parking lots where ever they go. Just have to make sure you have a true 4 season truck camper or holiday trailer.

The Arctic Fox truck camper starts at 30 grand. I looked at going that route, and pulling me 28' sled trailer. But that is too much for my blood, for a truck camper!

I didn't say they were cheap! The 25 foot bumper pull holiday trailers from Arctic Fox retail at about 45,000 right now!

Used will drop the price huge, I have a big winterized Lance from 2000, for under $10k. Be careful, if you have a big overhang you'll need a very expensive hitch to accommodate the extension you may need.

Spent a few nights chatting with those dudes after coming down from grooming. Nice set ups!
